Integrative Approach:

Here at Mountain View Health PLLC, we believe in treating the whole individual. We understand that reaching out can be a difficult first step, but we are here to help you through your journey. We also believe that finding the root of your symptoms involve an integrative approach looking at the mental, physical, spiritual and emotional aspects of each individual. We use an integrative approach to coordinate care with your other providers, including therapists, primary care and anyone else that is important to you and your success to recovery!

We treat children, adolescents and adults in Lewiston, ID and the surrounding communities. Our clinic offers a warm, welcoming environment for patients seeking medication management as well as psychotherapy in a nonjudgmental way. We hope that you feel at ease in our space.

We strive to stay up-to-date with medical practices as we have only Family Nurse Practitioners who are dual certified as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners. Our therapists are nationally certified therapists who also maintain active licensure. We take pride in being one of the very few local clinics who specialize in psychiatric care with medical staff on site. We hope you make the next step towards your wellness with us and we look forward to meeting you!

What to Expect:

You should expect to see your medication provider for a 50-60 minute intake and for 20-30 minute follow up session.  Your therapy sessions will be 45-60 minutes. We ask you arrive 15 minutes early to complete your paperwork for your initial visit. We also ask that you bring in your intake papers with you to the initial appointment. The intake is not admission into our practice. You along with the provider will determine if it is a mutually good fit within the first session. Your provider will be engaged and proactive in your treatment at Mountain View Health PLLC. We believe it is crucial for success to know you as a person and we look forward to meeting you.

Please understand, that once stable on your medications, you will be expected to be seen for a follow up every 2-3 months to maintain safe and quality care as we are a mental health specialty.

We understand this may be different for those coming from a primary care setting. Some practices see patients much less than this, we ask that you understand this prior to your appointment. Our patients enjoy and benefit from this quality care and monitoring. Please review our policies and procedures here. To make the first step in your wellness journey please call us today!

Larger group practices and community agencies do have this capability and are a more appropriate level of care if you anticipate multiple emergencies.  We do not offer crisis services. We do not offer case management. Please take your needs into account when choosing our practice.

Coordination:

It is the policy of our clinic that we coordinate care including scheduling directly with our patients. This includes the first phone screening, intake and all continuous care. If you require more complex care, we encourage you to seek a larger agency.

Safety & Mutual Respect:

At Mountain View Health PLLC we take great pride in the services we can provide for our patients. We care for individuals who deserve a safe and peaceful place to receive care. We have a zero tolerance policy for patients or patients visitors creating an unsafe environment for our patients or staff.
